An interior project at Choc Studio moves through three phases: design, preparation and realisation, in that order. That sequence isn't a preference, it's a necessity. Start preparing without a design and you'll prepare the wrong things. Start furnishing without a plan and you'll buy the wrong things. How much Choc Studio handles in each phase is agreed after the introductory meeting and set out in a fixed quote.

With the design as the basis, we manage the technical preparation. In this phase we coordinate with all specialists involved: contractors, kitchen and bathroom suppliers, floor layers, custom joiners, electricians, painters and plasterers. We maintain coherence and are available for every decision that arises during execution.
3. realisation
Once the design is complete and the build is prepared, the furnishing begins: from furniture selection and upholstery to delivery, storage and placement. We work with a broad network of brands and suppliers, from international design labels to Dutch craftspeople, and select what best suits your design.

what does an interior designer actually get me?
In practical terms: a plan that lets you prepare your renovation properly, brief contractors and suppliers with confidence, and achieve the result you had in mind. But the real value is in what doesn't go wrong. Poor purchases, a layout that doesn't work, a decision you're still regretting three years later. A good design saves you from all of that, and that saving tends to outweigh the cost of the process.
how does the introductory meeting work?
You come to our studio in Bennebroek. You tell us about your project and wishes. We show you who we are, how we work and what we have realised. The meeting takes one to two hours. It is free of charge and without obligation. Afterwards you receive a fixed quote within one week for your specific project. No open end, no additional charges.
do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. Many clients start with just a general idea. During our meeting we help you clarify your wishes.
what does it cost to work with Choc Studio?
After the introductory meeting we draw up a fixed quote that fits the scope and complexity of your project. No open end, no post-calculation. You know the cost upfront.
when in the interior process should I involve you?
As early as possible. Ideally before architectural choices are finalised. Layout, lighting, heating: these decisions determine the interior later. The earlier we're involved, the more design freedom there is, and the better everything can be coordinated. Changes afterwards are expensive and often limited.
can you also do just one room?
As long as the room has sufficient scope or complexity. But we prefer working on entire homes or floors because that delivers the best coherence.
how quickly can I get an appointment?
Usually within 1-2 weeks, depending on our schedule.
do you also work in Dutch?
Yes, we're bilingual. All communication can be in English or Dutch, whatever you prefer.
