Good interiors don't start with furniture. They start with a plan. Choc Studio is an interior design studio in the Haarlem area. We handle interior projects for new builds, renovations and existing homes, from initial design to completion. Design and realisation, treated as one process.
who designs and realises your interior?
We are Choc Studio: Robbert Maarsen and Julia de Jong. From the first conversation, you deal with us personally. Robbert has worked in the interior design industry for more than thirty years. Julia combines twenty years in interior design with ten years in marketing and project management.
At many studios, the designer's involvement ends once the drawings are finished. A contractor or stylist takes over from there, and somewhere along the way the original intention gets lost. We keep sight of the whole project, from the first idea to the handover. You can see that in the projects below.

Every project moves through three phases:

A good design only comes into its own with the right implementation. Choc Studio advises on suitable specialists and can coordinate and supervise the work.
3. realisation of the interior
An interior is only complete when everything is in place. We can handle the selection, production, storage, and installation of furniture, upholstery, lighting, and accessories.
