frequently asked questions
what do I actually get from an interior design?
A solid plan that lets you prepare your renovation, brief your contractors and make purchases with confidence. You'll know in advance what it's going to look like, what it costs and what's needed to get there. That prevents the kind of mistakes you can't correct after the fact, and that's precisely where the value of a good design lies.
what is the difference between the three services?
Service 1 delivers a complete design that you can realise yourself with your own contacts. Service 2 adds our guidance: we advise on material choices, coordinate with specialists and maintain design integrity. Service 3 is complete realisation: we arrange procurement, delivery, storage and placement of the interior products.
which service do you recommend?
That depends on your situation and project. During the introductory meeting we discuss your wishes, network and available time. Based on that, we advise which service fits best. But most clients choose Service 3: from design to realisation.
how does the design process work?
We work through multiple design sessions where the design is refined step by step. You provide feedback after each session, we make adjustments. This way we refine the design together until it fully matches your vision.
do you work with fixed suppliers?
We have an extensive network of reliable partners, but aren't bound to specific suppliers. We always choose what best fits your design and budget.
what if unexpected situations arise during execution?
With Services 2 and 3 we're involved and can immediately think along about solutions that fit within the overall design. With Service 1 this lies with you and your specialists (kitchen specialist, flooring installer, joiners etc.).
what does it cost to work with Choc Studio?
The price follows the level of involvement you choose, from a standalone design to full guidance through the build. After the introductory meeting, we draw up a fixed quote that fits the scope and complexity of your project. That way you know the cost upfront.
can you also do just one room?
As long as the room has sufficient scope or complexity. But we prefer working on entire homes or floors because that delivers the best coherence.
