How a new country house gained warmth and cohesion
The owners of a recently completed country house near Amsterdam felt their interior lacked cohesion, functionality and atmosphere. Choc Studio was asked to redesign the home. The goal was to strike a balance between aesthetics and liveability. In addition to a new colour and material palette, Choc Studio developed a complete furniture plan. The living and dining rooms, hallway, master bedroom and office were furnished with new pieces, fabrics and lighting. Art and accessories completed the design.
The question: how do you bring warmth and cohesion to a new home?
The house offered a strong foundation, but the owners missed the sense of comfort they were looking for. How do you turn a newly built property into a home that feels stylish, liveable and inviting?
The solution: restyling with furniture, colour and light
Choc Studio created an interior plan where furniture, colours, textures and lighting work together. Each room was given its own mood, yet all spaces connect seamlessly. New furniture sets the tone, complemented by fabrics and accessories that add warmth and texture.
The result: a warm and liveable country house
The home was furnished with pieces from Marac, Meridiani and the Pure Choc collection. Rugs by Carpetlinq and Limited Edition add comfort and texture. Lighting by Stout, Layer by Adje and Contardi provides subtle accents. Wall coverings by Wall & Deco, Glamora and Arte enrich the atmosphere.
