From concept to realization: a villa on the Vecht river
Choc Studio designed and realized the interior of a new-build villa overlooking the Vecht river. The process began with several design proposals visualized in 3D. The chosen plan was developed into a comprehensive lighting, colour, material and furniture scheme. Italian marble, sourced directly in Italy, became a defining element and was applied throughout the house. Bespoke cabinetry added a refined and complete finish.
The question: how do you keep oversight of all the choices and steps in a building project?
The clients wanted a villa where every detail was right: from layout to materials, from furniture to lighting. How do you ensure that a project with so many decisions and parties involved runs smoothly, without losing clarity and cohesion?
The solution: complete design and execution in one hand
Choc Studio guided the process from the very first sketches. With 3D visualizations, different possibilities were explored and decisions made clear. The final design was detailed in lighting, colour and furniture plans, complemented by carefully selected Italian marble and bespoke joinery. By keeping all steps in one hand, peace of mind and consistency were ensured throughout the project.
The result: a villa where all details come together
The villa is furnished with pieces by Meridiani, Marac, Nilson Beds, Prades and the Pure Choc collection. Rugs are by Carpetlinq and Limited Edition, wall coverings by Arte and Thibaut. Fabrics from Casamance, Equipo DRT, Anthology, Kirkby Design and Zinc add texture and depth. Lighting by Nemo, Moooi, Stout, Delta Light and Fambuena enhances the atmosphere. Marble was supplied and crafted by Grillo Natuursteen, the Cesar Cucine kitchen was realized with Dutch Kitchen Design, and all bespoke cabinetry was produced by Oostergracht. The garden design was created by Vosselman Buiten.
