The wish of the residents of this monumental building from 1885 was to obtain more serenity in the house. By working with dark wood and warm, natural tones, the desired atmosphere was created. As a strong element, the color (dark) blue was applied in this design. Rugs on the floor and soft fabric for the sofas immediately gave the desired coziness. So did the ethanol fireplace by the large custom dining table, where the residents now often sit together to read or work.
In addition to the entire first floor, the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors were also thoroughly redone, including the master bedroom, the study, the two teenagers' rooms and the bathroom.
