A strong interior starts with a clear plan. In this phase we translate wishes into multiple concepts, developed in 3D. This gives early insight into atmosphere, layout and possibilities. From there we move towards one final design: visually strong and practically achievable. It includes a lighting plan, colour, material and product proposal, plus an overview of all required work.

Step 2: Preparation – from design to action plan
Once the design is set, we move to the practical translation. This involves engaging specialists, requesting quotes and coordinating details. In this phase we also guide the selection of products and materials. That may include showroom visits together with the client, or independently gathering samples and quotes from suppliers. Choc Studio can advise, or take on full coordination. This keeps everyone aligned and prevents miscommunication.

- Selecting and briefing contractors and suppliers (such as interior builders, installers, kitchen and bathroom suppliers, flooring and wall finishing)
- Coordinating showroom visits and supporting product and material selection

Step 3: Realisation – the design becomes reality
This is when plans turn into a finished home. Furniture, lighting, textiles and custom pieces are delivered and installed. In this phase, planning and coordination are crucial. Choc Studio oversees the process, arranges transport and installation, and ensures everyone works according to plan.

Case study: from idea to finished home in Haarlem
A young family in Haarlem asked us to help with their new-build home. They had plenty of ideas but no clear plan. The layout felt cramped, and their choices clashed. We started with several 3D concepts to show atmosphere and space. From there we developed a final design, complete with a lighting plan and custom furniture. During preparation we accompanied them on showroom visits and coordinated details with suppliers. During realisation we managed the process.
